The Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra bridges the rich heritage of Andalusian art and culture with the present.

I was invited to create visuals for their seasonal brochure at Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ—paying tribute to iconic figures like Warda, whose voice embodied Arab nationalism and democratic aspirations, Farid Atrash, the legendary “King of the Ud” and a celebration of Cairo’s Golden Age through a collage of its influential composers.

Drawing inspiration from the graphic design of the era, I leaned into the historic spirit of the event—integrating texture, period colors, and vintage typographic styles.
